Nehi is a daughter of the very famous sire, Choco Dock. Although she is our smallest Rocky mare, she has thrown the most enormous colt to Sundown Cowboy, who is currently standing at 14 hands at less than two years old. Nehi is adored by many for her calm, stoic nature and her willingness to please. Shortly after she arrived from the USA in 2019, she was getting stuck in to all riding club activities with Chloe, then aged 7. She will offer both trot and gait when asked, and will pop a jump too. Nehi has also done some pleasure rides with our friend Claire. She really is a most special mare, and with her breeding, is an enormous asset to the stud.

Nehi is expecting a colt in 2023, her last by Dreamy who is now gelded. This special boy is available for reservation. After weaning, Nehi will then have some time off breeding as a ridden horse.

Her red colour means that she is a little eclipsed by her flashier silver black half brother, our own HSF Choco Dock, but she is a classy, honest, and very original in type Rocky Mountain Horse. We are super excited to see what foals she produces from Dreamy. Grace is a very solidly built mare, standing at 15 hands, and with bone and substance to die for. She is in foal to my favourite Kentucky Mountain Stallion, the silver grullo Holy Smoke who lives in Florida. I have been following his offspring for years, and the foals all look super regardless of the mare used.
