Misty is the only full sister of our very first Rocky Mountain Stallion, Sunny. Although we tragically lost him to equine asthma, we are lucky enough to continue his legacy not only through his daughter, Lucky, but also his only full sister in the world, Misty. We are truly grateful to have her, and her dam, Sunset, on our farm. Misty goes back to the earliest Rocky Mountain stock. Her dam, Sunset, was bred by the founder of the Rocky Mountain registry, Rea Swan. Her sire, RVF's Risky Business, was a USA import into Europe, and a popular choice amongst breeders there.
Misty produces stunning, even tempered and willing foals who are a credit to the breed. Lola was our very first homebred Rocky Mountain Horse, born in 2019. We chose a wonderful American import stallion then residing in Holland, Lightfoot in the Wind, to cover both Secret and Gemini (Lola's dam). 11 months later this beauty was born, and she is one of the few classic champagne horses in the breed. We are doubly fortunate that this special lady is herself a grandaughter of foundation stallion Sewell's Sam.
Lola's dam, Gemini, is now in Spain and has had a super second filly by our Dreamy.
Misty is expecting a filly in 2023, and both her and her filly are available either separately after weaning, or together.
