Some years ago, we came across Delia's Day aka "Sienna", an honest, typically Irish, 15.2 sports horse mare who won us over with her beautiful nature and sensible outlook on life. Her first foal with us proved to be a wonderful prospect, and the following year, we used a smaller quality stallion in Murka's Gem (a clone of the legendary showjumping Thoroughbred gelding, Gem Twist).
The cross of the Irish Sports Horse with quality Thoroughbred blood is a well trodden path, and we have no doubt that Palio will prove a worthy, sensible mount when he begins his ridden career.
