Maverick is our last foal of 2022, and a rather unexpected one at that! Born of the illicit liaison between Chloe's Icelandic mare, Glodis from Solva, and HSF Choco Dock, this nocturnal romance occurred following a night with the girls when Choco had been let out of his secure paddock by person(s) unknown, who we suspect were hare coursing.
Fast forward 11 months later, and Maverick was born. After spending the summer lamenting that none of the foals born suited the name "Maverick", at last, we got what we wished for even if it wasn't quite in the way we expected.
Maverick will be retained as a future endurance horse for Chloe when Glodis is retired.
